David Enders is an award-winning journalist based in Beirut, Lebanon with two decades of experience in the Middle East and United States.Ā As a producer atĀ Al JazeeraĀ (Fault Lines,Ā The Stream,Ā People and Power),Ā Vice NewsĀ andĀ TRT World, David managed crews in the studio and in the field, fromĀ Iraq to Washington DC, bringing investigativeĀ news reports from conception to completion. He has covered prison issues fromĀ Texas to GuantanamoĀ and reported live from riots inĀ Baltimore.Ā
David started his careerĀ as a print reporter at theĀ Associated PressĀ in Detroit. He has also written for magazines includingĀ The NationĀ and served as the Syria and Lebanon Bureau Chief forĀ McClatchy newspapersĀ and the Beirut correspondent forĀ The National.Ā Heās the author of the bookĀ Baghdad Bulletin,Ā released by the University of Michigan in 2005.
